How has your experience working with Emory benefited your business?

Our connection with Emory University began in 2021 when they reached out to us as a potential partner due, in part, to our diverse certification and the organization's interest to grow its supplier diversity effort. Our relationship grew over time and has been an important driver to the growth of Excelsior. What we value most is the relationships that we have been fortunate enough to establish, the accessibility and transparency that exists with everyone that we have worked with, and our experience has elevated our ability to provide valued services.

What are some challenges you have faced as a business owner?

Presently, we are facing a challenge of attaining new business. The staffing industry is experiencing a new landscape post-pandemic, and the environment is more challenging right now with a slow economy. We are prioritizing quality over quantity are working hard to continue improving our services and overall value to our customers.

What are some of the specific services Excelsior Staffing provides to Emory University?

We primarily partner with Emory's Campus Services department. Some of the staffing needs we have supported include groundskeeping, general and facilities maintenance, and relocation service staff.

What separates Excelsior from the competition?

We emphasize on taking care of our team members and that starts with our excellent benefits. We are one of the few companies that offer leave pay to our teammates without charging that back to our clients. We also offer a flex program which allows our clients to tap into a pool of employees that are reliable and flexible with their work schedules to accommodate immediate or temporary staffing needs.
