Sponsored Program Travel

Sponsored Program Travel is travel funded by an Emory-sponsored program or project. A "sponsored project" is a university project for which an individual or organization external to Emory, such as the federal or state government, non-profit organization, or foundation, provides the funds. Travel funded by sponsored funds is subject to additional rules and considerations different from or in addition to the Emory Travel and Expense Policy (2.90). If there is a conflict between university policy and the award requirements, the sponsoring agency policy applies.
