eShipGlobal: A More Flexible Shipping Experience
Procurement is pleased to announce Emory’s upcoming transition from direct Federal Express accounts to eShipGlobal, a centralized shipping platform accessed through Emory Single Sign-On (SSO). The new platform will provide a simpler user experience, stronger controls, improved visibility, and greater flexibility when selecting shipping options.
One platform. One Emory sign-in. Multiple carrier and service options.
Why Emory Is Making This Change
Moving to eShipGlobal will replace separate direct-carrier accounts with one institutional platform. Users will no longer be limited to a single carrier. Instead, users will be able to compare available carriers and service levels and select the option that best meets each shipment’s timing, service, and business needs.
What This Means for Users
- Access the platform using Emory SSO, with no separate Federal Express login to remember.
- Compare multiple carriers and available service levels in one place.
- Create outbound shipments and generate labels that can be emailed to others sending packages to Emory.
- Charge eligible shipping costs directly to an approved SpeedType.
- Create reusable address books for frequently used destinations.
- View shipment history and tracking information through one platform.
- Receive direct customer service and shipping support from eShipGlobal.
