Fiscal Accountability

Fiscal Accountability provides guidance to the University in maintaining and improving internal financial controls throughout all areas, as well as managing the year-end financial statement audit.

Fiscal Accountability also works very closely with other areas of the Controller's Office and the Emory campus to ensure that new processes are set up in compliance with current auditing and financial reporting standards.

The group also manages all of the University nonresident alien tax reporting and provides guidance to foreign students and scholars in preparing their individual income tax returns at year-end through the nonresident VITA program.
